As a child my mom had my sisters and I entertaining the family for holiday gatherings so being in front of a crowd has never been a problem. In the early 90s I took an interest in music as I listened to the passion my older cousin Darryl put into his songs. I then started singing his songs while feeling the beat. Music and entertaining became my goal bringing a positive vibe to the atmosphere. By age 15 music was very popular and I was then inspired by artists such as Ball G and Ghetto Boys. Those were two major groups that helped me take my skills to another level and start writing my own lyrics to different beats. Breathing seemed to be the most difficult in this business which most artists fail to realize. There is a major difference recording in a studio VS stage performance once I over came that obstacle I was writing performing on the regular. At the beginning stages if me and my boys didn’t have a beat we created one to go with the flow. Everybody from the hood was into the rap thing so a studio session was very hard to come by. We were looked down upon in our city because we were not rapping as most about the streets and drug industry. S.G.S was a group that was formed to speak about realness lyrical content. Not only was I having fun I learned the technical difficulties of the craft of the sound that I was creating while S.G.S was becoming very popular on my city streets. Although music was just a hobby now more than 10years later I have found the heart and soul for music.
