With songwriting and composition that can only be described as a powerful infusion of Soul RB Pop and Alternative music and a style that is captivating to any listener Chanell London brings a new platform that is entirely her own to the music industry.
Born in the little city Leicester England Chanell London showed from the age of 5 that she was destined for greatness. Growing up in Greater London Chanell studied piano acting and dance and developed her love and talent for the arts from Shakespeare and musical theater to television and gained recognition within her community as a starlet. And with her first song written at age 13 Chanell continued to craft her songwriting into the unique sounds we hear today. Chanell counts herself lucky having been exposed to some great music throughout her early childhood as music was always a big part of her family. Chanell's influences include the Beatles Joss Stone Tina Turner and Christina Aguilera just to name a few. Having been featured on various radio shows including WHUR 96.3fm and live performances in the DMV area Chanell is excited for the release of her new record set for early 2011 which will include songs like Some Days Done With You and the hit Outta Your Life. With a working band she is looking forward to other projects in 2011 including the charity single “Change” which Chanell composed and the web series Archives of The Heart of which Chanell is set to play a lead.
Chanell's greatest hope is to be respected and appreciated for her music and commitment to creating music that touches the soul. Chanell would like to create a movement that is more than just popular music but to create a movement that makes real music popular. With such electrifying presences Chanell London is truly unique for her time and destined to make an impact on the music industry.
