From humble beginnings in a Hooksett NH basement the band BORDERLINE ELEVEN was formed in 2005. The group of then aged 15-21 guys started from a simple desire to jam and do something fun in their spare time to create native rock music with positive pop messages and clean lyrics. After mastering several carefully ed cover songs - to be sure they could even play well together - they gave songwriting a go. At their Concord NH church a monthly open mic night kicked off to provide a regular spot to test drive their tunes. The response was very positive and encouraged them to continue. In winter 2007 and while still sophomores B11 won their annual high school Battle - a first - and then a local battle of the bands. Such success sparked their push for even more serious gigging. Word of mouth spread and by the end of 2007 there were 30 performances under their belts. Growing fan demand for more B11 was undeniable and by the summer of 2006 the pop rockers had recorded and released their EP Pacific Wasteland. In March 2008 they repeated the win as school champs - again a first - and opened for ELEVENTYSEVEN and THE FOLD at Summer Kickoff on May 30 2008 in Manchester NH. In August 2008 they participated in SoulFest a gig won on OurStage.com. October 2008 featured a Manchester NH performance with Gotee Records recording artist JOHN REUBEN at The Black Brimmer. Fast forward to 2010 when Tate Music Group became their record label and began work to issue the bands first full-length and highly anticipated CD Read Between The Lines. BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a band with a heart for their generation and a desire to positively influence the world. They continue to work with regional and national artists adding bands like RECYCLED PERCUSSION BOBBY BISHOP THE CLASSIC CRIME and EVERYDAY SUNDAY to the list.
