Born March 8 1985 Eric Bradford this New Jersey native recognized his dream at an early age. Lyrically gifted 10 year old Eric aka Blockstar Scales joined a Hip Hop group called Tha Fort. As a group member of Tha Fort young Blockstar Scales learned to compete with the creative minds of his group members Revenue Wrong Napone and Showtime. In 2000 Tha Fort began opening up shows for well-known Hip Hop Artists like KRS One Lil Scrappy Pappose Maino and Dem Frachize Boyz. After completing High School Blockstar Scales decided to continue his education so he enrolled into Clark Atlanta University where he majored in Business. Still a member of Tha Fort Blockstar Scales continued to pursue his musical dreams. Then in 2007 tragedy hit home when group member Revenue Wrong was brutally murdered. In 2008 Blockstar Scales decided to continue his musical pursuits as a solo act. He’s been booking shows throughout the tri-state area selling mixed tapes and promoting himself on social networks. 2012 Scales is a Songwriter Composer Producer Hip Hop Artist who continues to reinvent himself as he grows.
