PghFresh born as Tion Jones was Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa in 1986 around the time when gang violence was starting to hit hard. At the age of 5 his step farther which was also the farther figure of his life was robbed and shot 6 times physically paralyzing him for the rest of his life. He then moved with his grandmother who took care of him and his two brothers and began getting them involved in church. By the 4th grade Fresh was accepted into the Scholar program with math and writing being his strong points at the same time his grandmother was suffering from artheritis and many other illnesses. By high school Fresh had been introduced to the streets and had began running with a gang of Gangsters he called brothers. He was kicked out of school due to gang violence in a big gang rival. Influences from both sides of Fresh's lifes is viewed as he stresses his love pain and memories of the streets and his need for a better life and the struggle to create it through his music.
