Country Singer Irv Ferguson is a Musician who writes his own Original Song’s. He has been singing since the age of 5 playing instruments since the age of 10 and writing song’s since the age of 16. He was Born in Phoenix Arizona in 1957 Raised all over the Middle-Southern part of California. He came back to Arizona when he was 20 yrs old. He started singing at School Talents Show’s at a young age with his Dad and Family Playing at Park Shows and Fairs. In 1975 Irv and his Dad formed a Duo called The Newman Boy’s and played live on the Herb Jebco and The Nightcap’s” Show on KTRB in Modesto California. Irv Graduated from Modesto Junior College in 1978. After moving to Arizona Irv continued writing songs. He formed a friendship with Danny Zaragoza and his band “Stampede” in Casa Grande. He played every Thursday night on stage at “The Arch’s” restaurant and bar. Not long after that He met Luis Gloria and his band “Max Steel” they renamed the Band and called it “Smokin Gun” and played around Pinal County. After that the internet was coming into its own and so Irv Decided to just do his own Originals and stop doing Cover Tunes. Irv was contacted by Pamela Jennings program manager of NBRN.FM. She wanted to give exposure to a song she heard him sing called “My Beating Heart”. The song is being played on the “Let’er Rip” show with Mike Bradford at the radio station and worldwide via the NBRN Network. Also the song is being played in South Africa thanks to Frantz Maritz. The Song is out on the Market where ever songs are downloaded. Irv has performed on a Cable TV show on the “Marlene Dietrich Show” in 1996. He has met such personalities as Movie Star Anthony Zurb Famous News anchor Charles Kuralt of CBS and when Irv was 12 he met Randy Travis and his Family and new them from 1970 to 1978.
