Straight out of Morrow county Ohio. We all come from very small towns. Grit N Steel was formed in the summer of 2011. With all 4 members having different approaches in today’s music world it has allowed us to create a sound that can be heard by a variety of music lovers. Cramming a full band and all our equipment into a 12x12 bedroom in Paul's (Guitarist) house has been a little rough but we have created some really great sounds there. Band members Joel (Singer) Ian (Bass) Jason (drums) Paul (Guitar) grew up together and come from the same school (Highland High). If we are not out hunting and fishing you can find us in that 12x12 making the music simple. We just finished up recording our first album at Saron Acoustic Recording Studio. Our self titled album is due out sometime in May 2012. We are looking forward to a productive 2012.
