Born Shane now Sammy British. Grew up in a small town (Four Paths) in Jamaica. Always been an oddball kid i suppose always solo never making any attempt to fit in or fit out.. But before i knew it i was forced into the church choir then similarly into my school choir... loved the performing arts ever since never looked back. Been involved in every forms of performing arts competitions at every level in Jamaica from singing in the High School Festival choir acting in Drama festival to dancing in the spanish festival and Indian dance festival..yes Indian...no typo. (Notably receiving medals in every genre) But i find true solace in music both listening and creating... I lose myself in my music. My avenue of expression of me and my ideas to all who partake in it. I hope you do too. Love it or hate it. I appreciate the audience. My music is my refuge but i write my lyrics just for you. whoever you are. New to the game but not about to count myself out. Bring you a new spin.
