What/Who is BTD? The acronym BTD stands for Brothers Till Death. BTD was founded initially as a group of friends who grew up together in Harlem NY. In 2006 a couple of members of BTD decided to make music. In the past couple of years BTD has come to perform at several local NYC venues in their area. The group has had many member changes. Dellz Wes Boogs and E-Roc (now known as Joel.Alto) went at it for a while but things fell apart shortly after BTD’s 1st mixtape release in 2088 The Come Up. As of 2009 Wes Boogs Joel.Alto left the group and Brizzy Da Kidd joined. The Northern trio has set their eyes on “changing the rap game” and leaving a mark in the music industry. Brizzy Barritt ‘Brizzy’ Parker Jr. was born in Brooklyn NY on July 20 1990. Brizzy recalls growing up as “being stressful.” Within his childhood Brizzybounced back and forth between living with either his mother or father whom separated. At age 7 Brizzy met his future friend and group member Dellz. Brizzy spent time back and forth between NJ and Harlem NY. Brizzy finally settled down in Harlem with his father at age 16 and that is when he began to rap. He picked up the habit as an “easy thing.” Brizzy says he was influenced (to Rap) by Dellz and other friends. Watching his peers rap in high school and having always listened to rap music he began to work on his style and lyrics. It took time for Brizzy to build courage and feeling sure of himself (as a Rapper) but picked up his style and joined BTD in late 2008. Brizzy says BTD is ready “to take the music industry over.” Dellz Delvon ‘Dellz’ Sellers was born on June 2 1990 in Harlem NY. As a child Dellz was always quiet and held in his emotions. Dellz took a strong liking to rap at age 15 as he idolized the rap-ability of his cousin rapper Kev Money. At age 16 Dellz and E-Roc (now known as Joel.Alto) were influenced to pursue music after hearing and later being featured on a song by Dellz’ female cousin Gina B. Ever since then Dellz has been rapping and learning more diverse ways of rhyming. Even though the BTD has had many member changes Dellz always remained and has kept at it. Over the years Dellz has developed a strong passion for music and a greater love for Hip Hop/Rap. After 3 years E-Roc (now known Joel.Alto) left the group and the final change involved obtaining Brizzy who is his long time friend who Dellz says “has tremendous potential and drive”. Now BTD is hungry and ready to take over the rap game. Pa-Po Jones Artice L. ‘Pa-Po Jones’ Jones Jr. was born on December 15 1991 in Manhattan NY. He lives and went to school in Brooklyn NY and grew up spending most of his childhood in Harlem NY. Although Da Kidd’s family is originally from the south–he did not like the slower pace in South Carolina–he spent his summers in Harlem NY with current and past BTD members Dellz and Wes Boo. During his time in Harlem NY he became friends with Brizzy and Joel.Alto who both became very close friends. Music has always been a part of Da Kidd’s life but he decided to pursue music in 2005 a year when Joel.Alto Dellz and his other family members encouraged him to practice rap and from there he joined BTD.
