In early 2010 Three musicians came together by the forces of craigslist and culminated their abilities together soon they found Monte and The Modern Golem was formed. The Modern Golem is known for its driving guitar synth and key attacks and basslines spanning from groovy to funky to crazy and drumlines that keep it fast paced even in the more layed back parts. All in all it is described as rad with sick licks. The Modern Golem is emerging from the Portland scene like a hops vine in March with their originality and listenable and catchy songs. The live shows are full of mystery and excitement. Make sure that if they are in your area to listen and watch because it is one that you do not want to miss..
