Alex Austin was born July 10 1973 in Charlotte North Carolina. Alex spent a number of years playing the club circuit along the eastern seaboard before relocating in 1995 to Myrtle Beach SC. Over the years Alex has shared the stage with artist such as: Michelle Branch Lynyrd Skynyrd The Kentucky Headhunters Jason Bonham John Cafferty The Beaver Brown band Dangerous Toys LA Guns to name a few. In early 2003 Alex started a cover band to generate revenue to cover daily living expenses. To date Alex currently performs nearly (200) shows annually with his cover band. In 2005 Alex began recording his first solo-album. Alex’s debut self-titled solo-album was released in Jan 09‘. Alex is currently working on new material for a follow up release.
