K.I. (born Kenneth Eaddy) is a rapper and rising star. He is best known for being the first artist signed to Music Unlimited Records and remixing every hot song on the radio and making it better than the original. K.I. has released several successful mixtapes including - I Want In Angels Demons Evolution and The Remixes. Today music utives resting on their laurels try to find the next YouTube sensation with catchy hooks and gimmick dance moves. While many artists have tried to break through in spite of an industry meltdown few have been met with the critical acclaim of K.I. He moves to excel where his contemporaries have failed the Connecticut native gives promise of a new day in hip hop. While being raised by his parents in the hollowed out crime riddled city of Bridgeport Connecticut K.I.s music would be influenced by its sights and sounds. He dug deep into the music of hip hop artists such as Styles P Jay Z and Little Brother taking away a love for telling stories with unbridled rigor seizing every opportunity to put pen to paper. As a teen K.I. found himself with composition notebooks full of rhymes. A childhood friend DJ Invizible was just starting to get into the producing game and after hearing K.I. rhyme a lifelong partnership was formed. K.I. spent all his free time writing songs that would lay the groundwork for what his style has evolved into today. After gaining local notoriety and feeling the need to be heard outside of Connecticut K.I. along with DJ Invizible formed Port Authority Records. Port Authority signed a deal with independent label Music Unlimited Records. After polishing his sound K.I. released his debut mixtape properly titled I Want In. With a concept shedding light on the falling music industry and its tired gimmicks the mixtape put everyone on notice that K.I. was coming to do things his own way. With such a diverse display K.I. is ready to wake up a dormant industry and cement his name into the minds of fans everywhere but more than that with the recording of his debut album Writing Is My Therapy wrapped up he hopes to change the current wave of rap music swinging it in a more realistic direction.
