Stawlk Biography Rap sensation Stawlk is known for his unique style of rap with a noteworthy distinctive voice. His appeal is very versatile with song styles touching on Pop RB and Hip Hop. His music appeals to a wide audience with lyrics that they can relate to and set to feel good and dance music. Stawlk has opened for Rick Ross and Fabolous at the Bear Stadium and performed at various clubs and other places in his home state of New Jersey. Stawlk began his music career in a group called Third Degree where he collaborated on a mixtape also called Third Degree NBC. In 2006 he helped create a three member group called the Blockhuggaz. Together they put out a mixtape called Lyrics Flows and Melodies. By 2009 they added a fourth member and the Blockhuggaz caught the attention of the Ghetto Official record label and became part of that label. It was with the Blockhuggaz that Stawlk opened for Rick Ross and Fabolous. After the Blockhuggaz broke up Stawlk has remained a solo artist with the Ghetto Official label. Stawlk and Ghetto Official have recently released his first unofficial mixtape First of a Living Breed which includes some hits from the Blockhuggaz mixed with some of his own songs. These songs talk about his world and includes love songs with slow and fast jams versatile club music with different vibes that appeal to a wide cross-section of people set to Hip Hop RB and Pop rhythms. First of a Living Breed represents a breed that is alive (in contrast to being the last of a dying breed a breed which is dying off) where he is 1 at the helm and starting something new and fresh. So check it out and be on the lookout for the next mixtape coming soon. Born Fred Tuck Jr. aka Stawlk and aka The Trohjan Man Stawlk grew up in Newark Irvington and Union New Jersey. He doesn't come from a musical family but his family is close and supportive of his talent. His friends influenced his music development by introducing him to the music of Fabolous D-Block Bone Thugs n Harmony Tupac Biggie and Snoop. Some of the songs that influenced him the most were Skies the Limit by Biggie Thuggish Ruggish Bone by Bone Thugs and Gin n Juice by Snoop. Stawlk got his music name from a friend in high school who called him Beanstawlk because he is tall and thin. The name stuck because it's different and defines his stature well. The Trohjan Man is an iconic image which comes from wearing condoms around his neck on his hat and coming out of his pockets which draws attention attracts on-lookers and promotes safe sex. Stawlk grew up in bad areas where many people experienced tough times. In those environments it is easy to think bad thoughts. Most of the music he was exposed to was street music with lyrics talking about the bad things going on in the streets. Stawlk made a decision to know and keep positive thinking people around him at all times and thus has developed music that you can have fun to in the styles of crunk club music hip hop love music even baby making music! Stawlk does credit his experiences and the world he came from as a sounding board to knowing the difference and wanting to guide people in a different way. He doesn't like the feeling of hard times which he has known well so he wants to teach people to be nice to others. He calls it paying forward and wants people to know that it takes somebody to start something to make a change in other people's actions to be their example that they then follow. Stawlk currently age 26 has a 2 year old son. He wants to be a good influence for his son and he wants his son to know that in life everything doesn't come easy. Whatever you want to do in life you can do it but you've got to strive for it. He believes and teaches that you get back what you put in. Along those lines Stawlk and members of Ghetto Official took a Greyhound bus to Miami Florida believing that You gotta make moves if you wanna make something happen. In just about a year they have sold over 40000 cds in street sales to people on Miami Beach coming from every continent.
