Danny Profitz is one of the most versitile and exciting rising stars in Hip-Hop today. Best known for his clever lyrical content aggressive sound and intense flow Danny Profitz is unquestionably a force in the music industry. Daniel Wilson Espada (born October 21 1987) better known by his stage name Danny Profitz (DP) is an American rapper/songwriter born and raised in Hell's Kitchen NY. At the age of 11 Danny Profitz first discovered his passion for writing. Throughout his teenage years his hobby was writing and recording music on his spare time. As his love for music continued to grow his talent started to catch the attention of the people around him. In early 2010 Danny Profitz helped assemble a hip-hop movement called Streetstars Music and was featured on their debut mixtape Summer Mind State. Soon after Danny Profitz relocated to Brooklyn NY to prepare for his first child. On June 22 2010 Danny Profitz witnessed the birth of his daughter named Geleena Marie Espada. In early 2011 Danny Profitz decided to focus on his solo career. On March 21 2011 he was hit with the sudden death of his grandfather Pedro Jose Rivera. Despite dealing with the loss of his greatest role model Danny Profitz continued to push foward. His first extended play (EP) Hate 'Til You Love Me was released on November 21 2011. The song Destiny was written in memory of his grandfather and received several awards. Danny Profitz is currently working on projects set to be released in 2012.
