Hi I'm Darrell. My goal is to share with the listener via songs and perhaps a quick story an escape from their problems or distractions taking them somewhere they would rather be if just for the length of a song. My work follows in the trop-rock genre I was introduced to by a friend and I would agree it fits under an acoustic folk and country label too. First for your review is 'Stars From in Your Eyes': a ballad to the woman you are falling in love with and you never forget how it all began. Next up 'Pirate's Dream' is the title cut of my debut CD and really what I long to do when I retire. 'Yesterday Today and Tomorrow' is a song about the one who hurt me or you and the feelings that help us get over them. In my 'Island State of View' I give the deion of a melding spot in America where we all come together for a margarita or beach party: do you know its location? Lastly for your review is 'One True Love' about that sailor always searching for the perfect woman but realizing his true love is the sea.
