Born Jared Michael Domangue on November 3 1983 the Texas native grew up in the heart of the South. Although he never received any formal music training his interest in music was sparked at an early age. In hindsight music has been one of the only consistencies in my life dating back to my earliest memories. It wasnt until later that he realized the extent of his talent. His affinity for rap was sparked around the age of 13. Kids were coming to school with UGK No Limit Cash Money albums . . . I was fascinated. Being from the south the majority of his early rap influences were southern. At that time where Im from you were either bangin Houston or New Orleans. It wasnt until later that I discovered Pac Biggie Jay-Z . . . He began pursuing his interests in music around the age of 19. J. said I kept catching myself critiquing whatever artist I was listening to. Nothing big just He should of said this right here or He should of said that right there . . . one thing led to another I decided to take a stab at it. Known by those around him to be a bit of a perfectionist J. began to envelop himself in music by artists ranging from Frank Sinatra to Tupac Shakur leaving no stone unturned. It was from these influences that J. started to develop his own style. Writing relentlessly he soon began to get into the studio and perfect his delivery. In 2007 J. began to work on his debut release Forever Me financing the project out of his own pocket. In March 2008 J. officially released Forever Me an album widely anticipated to be a perennial classic. Ultimately Forever Me is a timeless body of work by an artist both vulnerable provocative. He is currently working on The Prequel Mixtape. The Prequel is due out Spring 2010 and is scheduled to be a free digitally released mixtape.
